Jay Yu FounderJay Yu brings more than 13 years of technical, operations and teambuilding experience in IT and network operations across many types of companies. Most recently Jay worked with Microsoft, leading the deployment and support of complex IT operations. Previously Jay was director of worldwide technical support for Plumtree Software, where he managed a team of customer support engineers responsible for supporting more than 180 customers and 125 partners worldwide. Prior to Plumtree, he was director of network operations for dNet, provider of immediate delivery services for online purchases. He held the same position at Global Networking and Computing (GNAC), provider of operations management services and outsourced production facilities/operations for 24x7 large-scale e-commerce companies. Jay has held a variety of systems administration, IT management and consulting roles with companies such as Synopsys, Adobe Systems, Xerox PARC, IBM, Covad, Lattice Semiconductor, and the Stanford Medical Center. As a systems administrator and systems architect, Jay has designed, implemented and supported IT infrastructure and business applications from end-user support through worldwide 7x24 production environments. Jay holds a BA in Communication (Journalism, Film/Video, Media Research) from Stanford University. |
